Today Is Super!

We've just taken delivery of this amazingly cute new journal by Sarah Neuburger of The Small Object called Today Is Super. It has drawings & decoration on every page with places for 'to do' lists, doodles & inspiration and a page of useful little stickers at the back. We like the suggestions for activities on the cover which include 'create stuff', 'look up' and 'banish monsters'!

Today I had a lovely arty afternoon at my friends house! We sat in the conservatory & drank apple juice & made lots of mono prints & pegged them on the washing line to dry. I'm still getting the hang of it but I'm really pleased with how the suns came out.

Glossy new postcards!

I was very excited when my parcel from Moo arrived this morning....I'd ordered some postcards of my recent drawings and wasn't sure how they'd come out, but the colours are fantastic and I love the glossy finish. Unfortunately they've all been damaged on one corner in the post so I'm going to get them replaced before I start selling them on my etsy site and in 44. The lovely people at Moo have offered to reprint them :) Here's a preview of a few of them for you...

I was really disappointed when we turned up at the car boot sale to find most of the stalls had already been packed away...but then I spotted this large framed tapestry for £2.50!!! I would've happily paid £2.50 just for the lovely wooden frame!
