My new favourite earrings

My husband bought me these lovely little earrings at the Lustre craft fair in Nottingham. I had to wait till Christmas Day till I finally got to wear them and now I don't want to take them out! They were made by my school friend (and talented jewellery designer) Alison Macleod who has a blog full of beautiful things here. You can also see more of her jewellery on her website.

I just HAD to show off these drawings of Matt Smith as Doctor Who, drawn by the very talented 6 year old son of my best mate. They're brilliant! He loves all things Doctor Who and even dressed up as Matt Smith for his birthday...he looked so cute in a bow tie and tweed jacket!

Hooray! A brilliant hand-made card from Little Dark Eyes to wish us Good Luck with the new shop! And I have the perfect place to put it....we found this great little formica letter rack while hunting for furniture, with a very 1950s illustration printed on the front.

Pop-Up Shop!

We're very excited to announce that we'll be opening a pop-up shop at no4 Eastgate next week! (just a minutes walk from 44) Paper Cloud Studio will be open for the Lincoln Christmas Market, from 2nd to 5th December, and thereafter 10am-4pm Tuesday to Saturday until April. We'll have the best in new design, including Alessi, Donna Wilson, Rob Ryan and Lush Designs. As well as lampshades, cushions, tea towels and china, we will be selling selected pieces of mid-century vintage furntiture. We're also delighted to be stocking these gorgeous cotton ball light strings by Cable & Cotton in various colour combinations.
